Named last month as the global ambassador for Calvin Klein jeans and underwear, South Korean boy band BTS superstar Jungkook also becomes the face of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2023 campaign.
Following the success of the Spring/Summer 2023 campaign featuring Hollywood stars Michael B. Jordan and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jungkook is set to take the Calvin Klein world by storm.
Renowned photographer Park Jong Ha was tasked with capturing the essence of Jungkook’s unique style in a series of campaign images that showcase the young star’s ability to effortlessly blend the world of fashion and music. The initial set of images features Jungkook donning Calvin Klein’s nostalgic ’90s Straight Denim and Body Jeans, Relaxed Fit Denim Shirt, Oversized Denim Jacket, and Relaxed Fit Standard Logo Crewneck Tee, showcasing the versatility of the brand’s latest offerings.
In the second part of the campaign, Jungkook embodies the iconic spirit of Calvin Klein by modeling the Monologo Tee and the Archive Logo Tee in both black and white. The looks are expertly paired with denim pants, further exemplifying the timeless appeal of the brand’s classic aesthetic.
While BTS members have recently announced their temporary departure from the music scene to fulfill their mandatory military service in South Korea, the group’s individual pursuits in the fashion industry have continued to make waves. As of now, Jungkook has not disclosed his military enlistment plans; however, the group’s intention to reunite in 2025 remains unwavering.
The Calvin Klein x Jungkook collaboration signifies a new chapter in the brand’s storied history, as it continues to celebrate individuality and self-expression through its timeless designs.
