With the release of the HERBELIN Cap Camarat Square in 2022, now equipped with an automatic movement, the French watchmaker has pushed its contemporary style further while maintaining its neo-vintage and urban spirit.
Design and Construction
The HERBELIN Cap Camarat Square boasts a sleek and robust geometric structure with a square case measuring 39mm x 39mm, featuring rounded angles and crown protection. The bezel, decorated with six screws, stands out with vertical brushing and polished facets, adding a touch of elegance to its sporty look.
The new square-shaped watch also features a horizontal black dial, inspired by the 70s, with beveled indices and faceted rectangular hour and minute hands covered with luminescent material. The central second hand, which stands out in white, punctuates an extremely precise minute track located on the perimeter. A date window located at 6 o’clock completes the dial, offering excellent legibility of information.
The watch comes with a high-performance black FKM elastomer strap, designed to fit the watch’s case and cut on the sides, echoing the existing metal bracelet. Integrated into the case, the strap reinforces the model’s charisma while being very comfortable to wear due to its great flexibility.

Movement and Functionality
The HERBELIN Cap Camarat Square is now equipped with an automatic movement, the Swiss-made Sellita SW 200-1, known for its quality and reliability. With a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vph), this caliber has a power reserve of 38 hours and is visible through the transparent case back, allowing watch enthusiasts to admire the gears of the mechanism, including the HERBELIN-engraved oscillating weight.
The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters, making it ideal for sports and outdoor activities. Its robust construction and precise functionality make it a versatile timepiece suitable for everyday wear.
