BTS‘ Jungkook graces the cover of Vogue Korea for their October 2023 issue, showing off an impressive array of styles that speak volumes about his versatile fashion sense. The spread is nothing short of a visual feast, with four different covers that take us on a journey through different musical genres – jazz, British rock, punk and hip-hop. All under the meticulous eye of photographer Park Jongha.
Jungkook kicks off the series in a chic GIVENCHY sweatshirt seamlessly paired with sleek Vetements pants, setting the bar high for the fashion narrative to follow. The second cover presents a stark contrast with a laid-back ensemble of a casual T-shirt, unique pant chain and belt combination by Chanel paired with Gallery Dept pants. The visual journey then transitions to a more luxurious vibe with a full Ralph Lauren Purple Label outfit, before culminating in a stylish combination of a Martine Rose shirt and Ernest W. Baker trousers.
Stylist Youngjin Kim masterfully curated the cover story, incorporating pieces from avant-garde brands such as EGONlab, ERL and Charles Jeffrey Loverboy. The behind-the-scenes team includes Naejoo Park for hairstyling and Dareum Kim for makeup, with set aesthetics by Minkyu Jeon.
Throughout the feature, Jungkook opens up about his personal and artistic development, shedding light on his struggles with self-worth and his journey to embracing the love and support of his fans, the ARMY. He shares advice on self-belief, urging everyone to “admit and accept reality and always strive harder.”
His approach to fashion reflects his grounded personality. He often opts for monochromatic outfits, occasionally adding a pop of color with his shoes, or choosing a bold all-black ensemble to make a statement of simplicity. This simplicity, however, does not diminish the impact of his style, but rather enhances it.

Recently, Jungkook added a significant achievement to his repertoire by winning the Song of the Summer award at the VMAs for his debut solo track, “Seven,” a song that has taken the music industry by storm since its release in July 2023. This win is monumental, as he is the only K-pop solo artist to win in a non-K-pop category at this prestigious ceremony, standing out among global music powerhouses.
“Seven” has dominated music charts worldwide, topping the US Billboard Hot 100 and reigning supreme on the global Spotify chart with an impressive 16 million streams. The track also made waves in the UK, debuting at number three on the UK Singles Chart, demonstrating Jungkook’s growing influence on an international scale.
In this special edition of Vogue Korea, Jungkook has indeed cemented his status as a fashion icon, effortlessly blending his artistic identity with a sense of style that is uniquely his own.
