OMEGA and Swatch have once again teamed up to bring watch enthusiasts a new piece that is sure to impress. Following the triumph of their previous collaboration, the “MoonSwatch,” the two brands have now unveiled their latest creation, the OMEGA x Swatch Mission to Moonshine Gold.
The new timepiece boasts a seconds hand composed of OMEGA’s signature Moonshine Gold, an 18k yellow gold alloy that is seen on some of their most popular designs. Each hand was crafted under the light of a full moon in February, and a certificate verifying this unique process is included with each watch.
While the OMEGA x Swatch Mission to Moonshine Gold shares many similarities with its predecessor, it is its own standalone model, not just the 12th watch in the series. This timepiece prioritizes the Swiss brands’ DNA, most closely resembling the OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch.
As with previous MoonSwatch models, this latest release cannot be purchased online. The OMEGA x Swatch Mission to Moonshine Gold will only be available for purchase on March 7, 2023, in London, Milan, Tokyo, and Zurich, with a price tag of £250 EUR. Each city was chosen for its association with gold, making them the perfect locations to showcase this golden timepiece.
For those who have been eagerly awaiting the latest collaboration between OMEGA and Swatch, today is the day to head to one of the designated cities and add the OMEGA x Swatch Mission to Moonshine Gold to your collection.
