FaZe Clan has announced a new collaboration with Japanese streetwear brand A Bathing Ape, also known as BAPE, for a co-branded apparel collection.
The limited-edition collection features T-shirts, hoodies, hockey jerseys, gadget pouches, hats and other apparel, with prices ranging from $55 to $439. The collection showcases a blend of both brands’ logos and the signature red hue of FaZe Clan. Most styles are designed in the red camouflage print, with a few minimal black or white T-shirts featuring BAPE’s signature ape logo.
FaZe Clan’s latest collaboration with BAPE follows a string of major partnerships this year, including a co-branded sneaker with Nike, which debuted on the Sierra Canyon basketball team during their game against Notre Dame. Before that, the company entered a multiyear partnership with Porsche to create original content, esports initiatives, consumer products, and digital goods.
FaZe Clan operates across multiple verticals with transformative content, reaching over 500 million followers across social platforms globally. Its content includes video blogs, lifestyle and branded content, gaming highlights, and live streams of highly competitive gaming tournaments. The lifestyle and gaming company went public last July, completing a business combination with special purpose acquisition company B. Riley Principal 150 Merger Corp and was renamed FaZe Holdings Inc.
BAPE, which was founded in 1993 in the heart of Harajuku, Japan, operates over 40 stores globally and aims to introduce Japanese fashion culture to the world. It has designed a series of iconic motifs, original patterns, and characters such as ‘Ape Head,’ ‘Bape Camo,’ and ‘Baby Milo,’ among others.
The new collaboration between FaZe Clan and BAPE offers fans of both brands the opportunity to own limited edition merchandise that fuses the distinct styles of two iconic brands. With this collaboration, FaZe Clan continues its streak of major collaborations, cementing its position as a leading player in the lifestyle and gaming industry.
