Jean Touitou’s Parisian brand A.P.C. continues its series of collaborations and has teamed up with BAPE (A Bathing Ape) for a new “Interaction” around Camo, denim and of course the famous “Baby Milo” from Nigo’s Tokyo label.
After LACOSTE, head to Japan for Jean Touitou who, on this occasion, celebrates the streetwear roots of BAPE whose existence he discovered in the 90s thanks to his friend Hirsohi Fujiwara.
Fascinated by the Tokyo-based brand “because it managed to root a cinematic obsession in a streetwear culture whose influence has become and remains major“, Jean Touitou translated this fascination by borrowing and reinterpreting BAPE’s camouflage print that covers his elegantly cut basics while the t-shirts mischievously highlight the recognizable “Baby Milo” silhouette.
The A.P.C. x BAPE Interaction #15 collection will be released on September 3rd on apc.fr
