UNIQLO takes up residence at Café Chérie, in the heart of Belleville, with its ephemeral HEATTECH Café.
With its flagship HEATTECH technology, the Japanese brand is offering the people of Paris the chance to spend warm moments on the terraces, despite the restrictions linked to climate change. This unique operation will take place from January 27 to February 19, 2023.
In order to maintain the Parisian art of living, which consists in enjoying the terraces all year long, UNIQLO has decided to make its technology available to the customers of the Café Chéri(e) terrace, which allows them to keep warm. For three weeks, customers will be able to don HEATTECH UNIQLO reversible blankets and enjoy the terrace despite the chilly temperatures.
This activation will focus on warmth comfort. The terrace located at 44 Boulevard de la Villette, Paris will be equipped with the HEATTECH blankets so that customers can test their effectiveness. The Café Chéri(e) will also be customized with HEATTECH colors and staff will wear HEATTECH apparel. To complete the experience, a specially designed menu with spicy burgers will be offered. The goal of this operation is to showcase the effectiveness of HEATTECH technology in everyday life.
HEATTECH has become a very popular collection over the years. Today, the range has expanded to include long-sleeved tops, pants, leggings, tights, sweaters and performance accessories to face the winter with as few layers as possible. HEATTECH technology is made up of four different fibers, including rayon and micro-acrylic, which retain the heat naturally emitted by the human body, providing a “second skin” that reuses the energy produced to transform it into heat.
