After an eight-year hiatus, Helmut Lang and UNIQLO are coming together again for a new collaborative project, this time focusing on Helmut Lang’s iconic jeans, a classic of the brand.

First introduced in Helmut Lang’s Spring/Summer 1997 collection, inspired by vintage Levi’s, the “HELMUT LANG JEANS” label reflects the brand’s minimalist vision, enjoying a particularly cult-like popularity since its debut.

Revisited by UNIQLO and its Jeans Innovation Center, Helmut Lang x UNIQLO jeans essentially opt for a clean, tone-on-tone look where details like seams, rivets and buttons match the wash of the jeans, while fabrics (recycled organic cotton) and sewing threads are made from recycled materials.
