Seiko 5 Sports Super Cub Limited Edition is the new creation of the Japanese watch manufacturer Seiko, inspired by one of the most produced motorcycles in history: the Honda Super Cub.
In the history of motorcycles, the Honda Super Cub, which was first produced in 1958, is a legend. Designed to be accessible and easy to ride for the vast majority of people, the Super Cub has been a favorite of motorcycle enthusiasts around the world for decades.
To pay tribute to this living legend, Seiko has created the limited edition Seiko 5 Sports Honda Super Cub, whose design incorporates, down to the smallest detail, the characteristics of this motor vehicle often used as a marketing case study.
The dial of the Seiko 5 Sports Super Cub Limited Edition nods to the silhouette of the two-wheeler seen from the front, while its indexes represent the headlights and turn signals. The watch is presented on a two-tone nylon strap, marked with the four Super Cub and Honda logos. Inside its stainless steel (SRPJ49 model) or carbon titanium (SRPJ75 model) case, the watch houses the 4R36 movement with a power reserve of 41 hours at 21,600 vibrations per hour, water-resistant to 10 bar (100 meters).
As a tribute to the iconic vehicle, the case back is engraved with the Super Cub emblem, accompanied by the words “LIMITED EDITION” and the serial number 0001/6000 – 6000/6000. This exclusive creation is presented in a special box, also with the Super Cub logo.
