G-SHOCK introduces an innovative new structure to its line of rugged watches, with a new case that integrates the bezel directly to the strap.
The Japanese brand of the CASIO Group once again demonstrates its ingenuity in terms of craftsmanship and design. The new G-SHOCK GA-B001 line, which starts with four models, GA-B001-1AER, GA-B001-4AER, GA-B001G-1AER and GA-B001G-2AER, is composed of two separate parts, the strap and the bezel, which are fixed at the 6 o’clock and 12 o’clock positions by two screws at 3 and 9 o’clock and two bolts at the top and bottom.
This molded construction allows for a more ergonomic fit, minimizing the space between wrist and watch, while its dual analog and digital display mixing geometric and round shapes with indexes is inspired by the gaming and virtual reality worlds.
The new G-SHOCK watch itself is divided into two distinct styles: the GA-B001 is distinguished by its black color, shaded by touches of red, while the GA-B001G is adorned with a gradation of colors on the translucent bezel and bracelet.
These four watches are all equipped with the “Mobile Link” function that allows the watch to be connected to its smartphone via Bluetooth technology in order to receive notifications as well as the automatic setting of the time, stopwatch and alarms.
