Winner of the prestigious ANDAM award last June, the young label BOTTER from the creative duo Rushemy Botter and Lidl Herrebrugh has once again jumped into the water, in every sense of the word, with their new collection dedicated to the ocean, a recurring, even fundamental, theme in their creations.
Their concern for the environment, or more precisely their concern for the pollution of the seas and oceans, is once again at the heart of their creative process. This translated into scuba-inspired details, fishing net hoods, knitwear made with algae, slim-fit T-shirts adorned by playful dolphins, or belted jumpsuits and peeled coats constructed from protective neoprene, much like wetsuits. The looks were paired with hybrid shoes, including colorful sneakers wrapped in a hovercraft-like transparent casing, while the maritime inspiration was evident in colors, including blue and beige shades reminiscent of beach sand, and dolphin and palm tree prints.
