Announced late last year, the release of the new Nike Air Max Scorpion has been delayed and we still do not know the exact date. Despite this, several variations of this silhouette that already received many reactions both positive and negative have been unveiled, such as this edition “Triple Black”.
This future lifestyle-oriented model is made of full Flyknit, which has been perfectly mastered over its twenty years of existence. This is evidenced by the variety of weave patterns on the upper, in different shades of black and gray, with a slightly contrasting Swoosh, while keeping breathability and durability within a single piece of fabric. A welded mudguard, both at the front and throughout the base of the upper, provides additional strength.
The design is complemented by a thick, wavy Air Max midsole throughout, the main talking point of the silhouette, which Nike describes as an enhanced Air that offers “tomorrow’s comfort today.”
No release date is currently known for this Nike Air Max Scorpion “Triple Black” (code: DJ4701-002), but it should probably land in the coming months.
