Almost three months after the presentation of the home kit, Stade Rennais F.C. and PUMA have unveiled the club’s new 2022-2023 away shirt, a shirt that of course celebrates the identity of Brittany.
During the upcoming 2022-2023 season, when they play away from their Roazhon Park, Bruno Génésio’s players will wear their new sober jersey. PUMA, their long-time equipment supplier, has once again chosen to pay homage to the club’s roots, through a number of nods. Firstly, the black and white color scheme refers to the colors of the Brittany flag, Gwen-ha-Du, which literally means black and white in Breton. Then, there are ermine spots printed on the whole outfit as well as the year of the club’s foundation, 1901, stamped on the collar.
Bruno Génésio’s men will wear the new 2022-2023 away shirt for the first time on August 27 when they face RC Lens in the fourth round of the Ligue 1 championship.
