Today, ZEGNA is taking the next step in its digital journey by introducing an innovative technology that bridges the gap between physical stores and digital channels. This new technology features a cutting-edge 3D style configurator that allows customers to fully customize their fashion choices, from cut and color to material and measurements. To start, this technology will be applied exclusively to ZEGNA’s Luxury Leisurewear collection.
According to Edoardo Zegna, Chief Marketing, Digital and Sustainability Officer, “Technology is a luxury when it makes life easier, and at ZEGNA, we see digital as something much more than just a sales channel.” He went on to explain that ZEGNA X already accounts for almost half of the brand’s sales in the post-pandemic era, and with the addition of its made-to-measure service, it is set to become even more successful.
ZEGNA X is a unique combination of art and science. The art comes from the expertise of ZEGNA’s skilled tailors, who bring Italian taste and style to every piece of clothing. The science lies in the technology behind the 3D configurator, which was developed in partnership with Shin Software. The configurator offers over 49 billion possible combinations of clothing and styles, all custom-made and delivered worldwide in less than four weeks.
Starting today, ZEGNA’s style advisors around the world can use ZEGNA X to suggest the best options for each customer’s individual tastes and requirements. In April, the brand will unveil its ZEGNA X 3D Configurator In-Store Maxi Screen at its Montenapoleone store in Milan during the Salone del Mobile. This will be followed by launches in key stores around the world. By the end of the year, tailoring will be added to the ZEGNA X offerings, and by 2024, customers will be able to customize any look from the collection using their personal devices via zegna.com.
