Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has announced the latest addition to its G-SHOCK line of shock-resistant watches: the GM-B2100GD-9A. This timepiece boasts a full-metal design and an iconic octagonal bezel, now offered in a shimmering yellow-gold hue.
The G-SHOCK line has been a staple of the watch industry since its inception, known for its rugged design and ability to withstand the toughest conditions. The first watch in the 2100 line, the GA-2100, was released in 2019 and offered a contemporary take on the original G-SHOCK design. Since then, Casio has continued to innovate and improve upon the line, and the latest GM-B2100GD-9A is no exception.
The GM-B2100GD-9A is a stunning timepiece presented in a gleaming yellow-gold hue, with yellow-gold IP applied not only to the bezel and band, but to the minute details of the design, such as the side buttons and screws. The watch also features a hairline finish on the top surface of the bezel and a mirror finish on its sloping sides, giving the metal a textured look that is both chic and distinctive.
In addition to its eye-catching design, the GM-B2100GD-9A is also incredibly practical. It features a Tough Solar charging system, eliminating the need to replace the battery regularly, and is equipped with the Mobile Link feature, allowing for accurate timekeeping and easy setting of alarms, world time, and other functions when paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth.
The G-SHOCK GM-B2100GD-9A will be available from April 2023, at a price of €599 (approximately $635 USD), on gshock.casio.com and in the points of sale of the brand.
