While the second part of the YEEZY GAP ENGINEERED BY BALENCIAGA collaboration, released last May, is still news, Ye’s (a.k.a. Kanye West’s) YEEZY label has just posted some evocative images on its Instagram account that could be the next installment in the trio’s collaboration.
True to the collab’s aesthetic, the images and garments, shot in black and white by photographer Kristina Nagel and art directed by Betsy Johnson, evoke YEEZY’s futuristic vision and the dystopian spirit of BALENCIAGA.
The voluminous cuts, the utilitarian design so dear to Ye and Demna, the strong feelings suggested by the palette so dark characteristic of the collab are still there, although we have no more info for the moment on this possible next drop. But we will have the opportunity to come back to it very soon, stay tuned!
