Swatch, the Swiss watchmaker known for its innovative designs and collaborations, has once again pushed the boundaries of art and fashion. This year, they are launching five new capsule collections between mid-March and May, each paying homage to some of the world’s most iconic artists. The Swatch Art Journey collection will be available on March 16, 2023, and promises to be a playful and provocative interpretation of ten masterpieces from the world of art.

Swatch x MoMA: Celebrating Roy Lichtenstein
Swatch has teamed up with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of pop artist, Roy Lichtenstein. MoMA, founded in 1929, is a place of experimentation, learning, and creativity and is dedicated to promoting modern and contemporary art. The result of this collaboration is two captivating watches that combine Lichtenstein’s signature cartoon style and single-color Benday dots with Swatch’s playful spirit.
These watches will be available in Swatch boutiques, MoMA Design Stores, and online.
Swatch x Magritte: Honoring the Surrealist
125 years after the birth of René Magritte, the Belgian surrealist painter, Swatch is honoring his legacy with two new watches inspired by his most famous works “The son of man” and “The Treachery of images.” Magritte, known for his dreamlike and whimsical aesthetic, is celebrated by the Magritte Foundation established in Brussels in 1998.
These watches will be available in Swatch stores and online from March 16, 2023.
Swatch x Gallerie degli Uffizi: A Tribute to Botticelli
Swatch is bringing the Renaissance to life with two new watches inspired by Sandro Botticelli’s “Allegory of Spring” and “Birth of Venus.” The Gallerie degli Uffizi, one of the world’s most important museum complexes, houses an impressive collection of ancient sculptures and paintings from the Middle Ages to the modern era, including masterpieces by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and others.
These watches will be available in Swatch stores and online from April 13, 2023.
Swatch x Louvre Abu Dhabi: Bridging Two Worlds
In a groundbreaking partnership with the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Swatch has created a watch that brings together the iconic art of Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai, “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” and the Astrolabe, an intricate instrument by Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Battuti. The Louvre Abu Dhabi, the first universal museum of the Arab world, is dedicated to promoting greater understanding between cultures and making art more accessible to the world.
This collaboration watch will be available in Swatch stores and online from April 13, 2023.
