Vans Skateboarding and Timberland have teamed up for the first time in their history, the result of which is an all-new hybrid silhouette called the Vans Skateboarding x Timberland Half Cab Hiker.
Part skateboarding shoe, part hiking boot, the Vans Skateboarding x Timberland Half Cab Hiker is a fusion of the Vans Half Cab skateboarding shoe and the Timberland Euro Hiker hiking boot.
As such, the heritage of both partners’ iconic footwear can be found in the new hybrid silhouette, with the traditional Half Cab upper on one side mounted on the Euro Hiker’s lower half, all embellished with metal lacing eyelet reinforcements and round two-tone laces. Each pair is crafted from a blend of Timberland canvas and premium leather, not to mention a ReBOTL fabric lining containing at least 50% recycled plastic. To complete the look, padded leather collars, a grippy rubber outsole and co-branded Vans and Timberland details finish the design. This Vans Skateboarding x Timberland Half Cab Hiker is available in two colorways: wheat yellow and chocolate/olive.
A third shoe comes to complete these two Half Cab Hiker. It is a brand new version of the iconic Timberland 6-Inch boots. First launched in 1973, these 6-Inch boots have been revisited by Vans designers with a streetwear, workwear and skate aesthetic in a black version.
