Tottenham Hotspur, in collaboration with sportswear giant Nike, have officially unveiled their new home kit for the upcoming 2024-25 season. This year’s iteration marks the return of a popular design element – full navy sleeves – a nod to the club’s rich history and iconic colors.
More than just a visual throwback, the 2024-25 home jersey also prioritizes functionality. The jersey is made from Nike’s innovative Dri-FIT ADV fabric, which promises to keep players cool, dry and lightweight on the pitch. This advanced material wicks away sweat and provides breathability, allowing players to perform at their best throughout the game.
The design itself boasts a sleek and stylish aesthetic. The bold collar adds a touch of modern flair, while the subtle striped details pay homage to some of Tottenham Hotspur’s most famous kits of the past.
Nike has also unveiled a compelling campaign video, shot on location in Haringey, featuring a star-studded cast of players. They include fan favorites such as Heung-Min Son, Bethany England, James Maddison, Jessica Naz and Yves Bissouma.
The campaign video, entitled “Time to Rise,” is fronted by none other than Mathew Horne, a lifelong Spurs fan and star of the popular British sitcom Gavin and Stacey. The video captures the electrifying anticipation that washes over supporters when a new season begins. It also shines a light on club legends and former players who have embodied the true spirit of Tottenham Hotspur over the years.
Horne, clearly thrilled to be part of the campaign, said: “As a lifelong Spurs fan, this is a dream campaign to be part of – the new kit looks fantastic. The rooster has always been a huge symbol of pride for me, so it’s great to have it front and center. The rooster is at the heart of our identity as a club, so it’s fun to celebrate that. It’s what makes us Spurs.”
