Tiffany & Co., the iconic New York-based jewelry brand, is expanding its reach into the world of fashion with two exciting new projects. The company has just announced a collaboration with Nike for a fresh take on the Air Force 1 Low sneakers, and now, it’s teaming up with sports apparel brand, Mitchell & Ness, for a limited-edition football jersey.
The jersey, designed to honor Tiffany’s long history of designing and handcrafting iconic sports trophies, including the Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Trophy, is a true celebration of both Super Bowl LVII and the company’s legacy. It features details that are quintessentially Tiffany, such as the signature Tiffany Blue accents and an archival “T&CO” insignia. A “57” on the jersey refers to both the Tiffany & Co. Fifth Avenue landmark store on 57th Street and the Super Bowl event.

Tiffany & Co. has a deep connection to the world of sports, and it all started with the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The trophy, first designed and handcrafted by Tiffany & Co. for the inaugural Super Bowl in 1967, has become the symbol of ultimate gridiron glory. It was named after the legendary Green Bay Packers coach, Vince Lombardi, in 1970, and its design was created by Oscar Riedener, a former Vice President at Tiffany & Co., who jotted down the basic design during a 1966 meeting with then-NFL commissioner, Pete Rozelle. The trophy features a regulation-size football in a kicking position.
This year’s Super Bowl, taking place on Feb. 12 in Glendale, Arizona, is creating a buzz not just among sports fans but also among those who are not into sports. Pop star Rihanna will be headlining the halftime show, which is being considered as her big comeback performance. The singer and entrepreneur has not released a full-length album since 2016, and speculation is rife that the Super Bowl might be the launching pad for her highly-anticipated new album.
The Tiffany & Co. x NFL x Mitchell & Ness Football jersey is already available on Tiffany.com. Each jersey is packaged in a limited edition Tiffany Blue Box that features the Michell & Ness logo superimposed on the Tiffany logo.
