Rappers are popular at boohooMAN! Inglewood-born hip-hop songwriter, producer and Grammy-nominated rapper Swae Lee is the latest to join the British retailer and brand’s list of collaborators.
This is the 29-year-old Grammy-nominated rapper’s third collaboration with boohooMAN – the first in 2017 with his brother Slim Jxmmi, with whom he formed the hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, and the second in 2020.
The 57-piece collaborative collection combines the rapper’s refined style with boohooMAN’s bold aesthetic. Consisting largely of suits and ensembles, the collection combines patterns such as embroidery, sequins, velvet and iridescent fabrics with a number of colors ranging from nudes and pastels to golds and rich blacks.
“This collection is extraordinary. The campaign itself was initiated by Swae Lee’s celebrity status, with the concept focusing on an abstract interpretation of the Cannes festival. We were inspired by the way celebrities grace the red carpet in front of a crowd of photographers,” said Cleveland Campbell, creative director of boohooMAN.
Alongside this collection, the rapper will also lend his face to boohooMAN’s new festive “Party” campaign.
