After a long series of collaborations celebrating its 25th anniversary, including with Clarks, Converse or Billionaire Boys Club, Pokémon is now back with another footwear collaboration, this time with PUMA.
The extensive collection includes apparel and five styles of sneakers, all available in different sizes for both adults and children. Regarding the footwear options, the designers of the collection were inspired by some of the most iconic Pokémon characters such as Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle or Gengar.
So Bulbasaur gets his own PUMA Rider FV, Charmander is represented on the Slipstream Lo and Squirtle gets a PUMA Suede. Pikachu, the star of the franchise, lends his silhouette to two models: the PUMA Rider FV and the PUMA RS-X. Each shoe features the character’s face on the tongue labels and on the fly tags. On the heel of each model is the elemental of each character and the Pokedex numbers on the inner side of the tongues. A co-branded package completes the design.
