Craig Green is far from being a newcomer at adidas. The British designer is a regular contributor to the German manufacturer.
Over the past few years, the two partners have come together on numerous collaborative projects that have resulted in a plethora of unique and avant-garde silhouettes, all of which have complemented well Craig Green’s avant-garde fashion, revisiting many adidas classics, of which the Stan Smith is only the latest to be added to the list.
After the SCUBA PHORMAR – the very first silhouette designed entirely by Craig Green – released in late 2021, featuring the designer’s use of quilting, the two partners have returned with this Craig Green x adidas Scuba Stan.
Available in three colorways: white & green and two monochromatic beige and black, the shoe marks the debut of the Scuba Stan. Each colorway begins with a standard leather Stan Smith base with its signature three perforated stripes. The SCUBA PHORMAR heritage is found in the rope detailing found on the tongue, heel and around the base of the upper. A cushioned inspired sole finishes the design.

These new Craig Green x adidas Scuba Stan sneakers are available for preview at select adidas retailers, such as END, for $250 USD (approx. €250). An official release on adidas should follow soon.
