The balance between serenity and adventure is reflected in Mizuno‘s newest creation, the Mizuno Wave Mujin TL GTX. Combining a sleek design with the ruggedness needed to tackle the most rugged terrain, this shoe will suit both those who love the great outdoors and those looking for elegance.
The Wave Mujin TL GTX builds on the concept of the previous version by using a heat transfer technique to replace the leather. The result is a captivating combination of a running-inspired upper and a high-tech trail sole. This shoe also stands out for its collaboration with Gore-Tex, known worldwide for its waterproof membranes.
The design of the Wave Mujin TL GTX is the work of renowned illustrator and designer Tuan Lee. The upper, based on never-before-seen sketches, is presented in monochrome or very light camouflage and paired with a white outsole. This unique style combines a distinct look with sophisticated elegance.
To celebrate the launch of the Wave Mujin GTX and Wave Prophecy Beta from the SS23 collection, Mizuno chose to photograph the shoes atop Mount Etna, one of the last active volcanoes in Europe. The goal of this campaign is to merge the surreal landscape of the volcano with the force of nature and the colors of Mizuno shoes. The dark colors of the volcanic rocks serve as a natural backdrop for the hues and lines of the shoes.
