The curtains finally draw to a close on the collaboration between adidas TERREX and Japanese outdoor label, and wander, with the unveiling of their final chapter, the 3rd drop.
This culmination features iconic graphics and reflective detailing as seen on the adidas TERREX FREE HIKER 2 x and wander HIKING SHOE, taking fashion-conscious hikers from the city center to the mountain top – and back again – in unparalleled style. Rooted in themes associated with earth and nature, such as shadows and orbital lines, the collection is a homage to the planet, wrapping up a journey that began with human synapses and neurons and meandered through earthy color tones replicating our planet’s surface.
Carla Murphy, SVP/Global General Manager of adidas TERREX, remarked, “When we first teamed up with and wander, our goal was to create a multi-seasonal collection that tied our philosophies together, enabling more people to enjoy outdoor experiences in style.” Indeed, the partnership has resulted in a series of collections that have progressively drawn inspiration from micro to macro elements of nature. The final chapter, the 3rd drop, brings everything full circle with a collection fueled by the connectivity that humans have with earth and nature.
Central to the adidas TERREX x and wander collection is the adidas TERREX x and wander XPLORIC JACKET. This 3 in 1 jacket features a RAIN.RDY outer and a lightweight 90:10 goose down inner jacket. Additionally, a new pocket construction includes two zip pockets for functionality, while the waterproof two-way front zip and seam sealing ensure adventure-seekers stay dry in all weather. Complementing the apparel look are a mid-layer, 3 in 1 women’s pant, and an all-gender long sleeve top.
Another highlight of the collection is the adidas TERREX FREE HIKER 2 x and wander HIKING SHOE. This reimagined version of the iconic Free Hiker 2 features a new canvas upper, containing a minimum of 50% natural and renewable materials. The midsole benefits from adidas’ innovative BOOST technology, delivering energy return in every step.
The collection is completed with accessories such as the adidas TERREX x and wander ORGANIZER, adidas TERREX x and wander AEROREADY BACKPACK, adidas TERREX x and wander WIND.RDY MERINO GLOVES, and the adidas TERREX x and wander COLD.RDY 5 PANEL EAR CAP.
