This philosophy is woven into every aspect of the watch’s design, from its stunning white lacquer dial to its contrasting gray and orange accents.
The Speake-Marin ACADEMIC White features a one-level dial adorned with a shiny white lacquer. The applied Roman numeral hour markers at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock are crafted in white matte with Super-LumiNova, ensuring optimal legibility in any lighting condition. A gray chapter ring forms the small second counter at 1:30, while the flange houses a gray minute track with orange markings every five minutes. The curved SPEAKE MARIN signature at 7 to 8 o’clock adds a touch of elegance and symmetry to the dial, which is completed with the iconic rhodium-plated heart/spade-shaped SPEAKE-MARIN hands.
The ACADEMIC White is driven by the automatic Calibre SMA03 movement with an integrated micro-rotor, providing an impressive 52-hour power reserve. This exceptional movement is housed within a round tubular Piccadilly case, redesigned in 2017 by Eric Giroud. The watch also features a large fluted crown and a folding buckle on a matching white leather strap, all crafted from Grade 5 titanium.

The Speake-Marin ACADEMIC White is available in two sizes, 38 mm and 42 mm, starting March 27, 2023. The timepiece is priced at approximately €14,700 ($16,000 USD) for the 38mm version and €15,100 ($16,500 USD) for the 42mm variant.
