Danish clothing brand Soulland has unveiled a new collaboration with Chinese lifestyle and sports brand LI-NING.
Copenhagen-based fashion brand Soulland unveiled its Spring/Summer 2023 “Vol. 01” collection – the first of a trilogy – last Wednesday on the roof of the modernist Maggio Musicale Fiorentino concert hall in Florence.
New trilogy, new approach. For the first time, Soulland has merged its men’s and women’s lines into one gender-neutral collection. And, on this occasion, the brand continues its collaboration with the pioneering Chinese sportswear brand LI-NING.
Driven by a shared passion for sports, storytelling and creating a global community of running enthusiasts before, during and after, the two partners presented the Li-Ning Performance Running apparel line as well as Premium Lifestyle footwear, marking the Chinese brand’s promising debut at the Pitti Uomo trade show in Florence.
The PRE-INTER-POST project continues the initiative started in 2020, and this season the running shoes, the Shadow and Furious Rider 6, hold the top spotlight. Both models, which are set to launch globally on June 25, were presented in a special silver-painted version.
The Danish brand also gave a first sneak peek at its upcoming collaboration with LI-NING’s premium line, “China LI-NING,” which will include the Yun You Slay slide and the Exceed Infinity sneaker, among others. The former, similar to mules, features a unique warp-around design with an asymmetric open toe cap built on a 4cm thick light foam sole.
I am excited to explore new directions with LI-NING as well as expand on our successful running collab, PRE-INTER-POST. Soulland is an energy, and this should be the focus. I love designing different silhouettes through customization. I brought modified LI-NING items into the mix as well as embraced a wider range of products not limited to running. This is the start of something new for Soulland and for LI-NING.

The Soulland x LI-NING collaboration will be available online and at select retailers worldwide, first on June 25. It will continue through the 2022 holiday season and into Spring 2023.
