New Era launches the second installment of its collaboration with Smiley, reimagining some of the world’s number one headwear’s classic silhouettes.
As part of Smiley’s year-long 50th anniversary celebrations, the two brands reunite for the second time, following a successful first drop released earlier this year.
Featuring a broader offering than the previous one, this second drop includes the 9FORTY silhouette, Trucker caps, bobs, t-shirts, hoodies and joggers.
This latest collection features different variations of the Smiley icon, including a double Smiley icon merged on the front and back of casual wear and caps. Other graphics include a mix of t-shirts and hoodies with a sports team logo overlaid on the familiar Smiley icon, and another reflecting retro club promotion flyers with “good energy club” printed on the front. As for the palette, it exudes a vibrant energy, with lots of bright colors on bases in white, black, jade green and nude blush sky.
