Almost two months after the release of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “USA” in the colors of the United States to celebrate Independence Day, Nike has just unveiled a reverse colorway of the same pair, again with a United States of America theme.
While the previous silhouette is dominated by royal blue and red accents on a white leather base, this new Nike Air Griffey Max 1, still in the patriotic colors of the American flag, features a reversed scheme. As such, this new offering features a red leather base with black nubuck overlays, complemented by contrasting navy blue accents, including on the straps, tongue, eyelets as well as above the Max Air units, to reflect the Stars and Stripes color scheme.
A white midsole on a black rubber outsole completes the design.
This Nike Air Griffey Max 1 will be released in the coming weeks at select retailers and on Nike.com, priced at $170.
