Released in 1985 and formerly known as the “Chicago Reimagined”, the Air Jordan 1 High is undoubtedly the most wanted of this year. After thirty-seven years of existence, Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker is more popular than ever. Its price tag is at an all-time high and is the subject of exclusive collaborations – the Off-White iterations of the late Virgil Abloh come to mind – and its older editions are the most sought-after by collectors.
And, the latter will be delighted to learn that the Air Jordan 1 High “Lost and Found”, announced since the end of last year and after countless rumors, will finally land tomorrow in sizes for both adults and children.
A vibrant tribute to the OG pair, the presentation of the “Lost and Found” pair is also meant to be retro as it was presented in what appears to be a basement/storage area of a Mom-and-Pop store, accompanied by a mock receipt and special tissue paper.
Taking much of the specs inspired by its 1985 release counterpart, the Air Jordan 1 High “Lost and Found” features aged details, such as cracked leather supposed to show its “age” on the collar or falsely damaged looking packaging.
Although the “Lost and Found” has the exact same color scheme as the OG pair, many small details differ such as a more slanted collar shape on the original pair than on the “Lost and Found”, a more modern printed “Jordan Wings” and a more padded tongue on the 2022 version or an OG Swoosh that tapers off significantly more towards the heel and is more pronounced on the forefoot than on the “Lost and Found”….

The release of this Air Jordan 1 “Lost and Found” is scheduled for November 19, at a price of $180 USD via Nike SNKRS and at some retailers.
