It is expected and it is finally here! AC Milan’s third jersey for the 2022/23 season was unveiled a few days ago by PUMA, the club’s German outfitter.
Worn by the men’s, women’s and youth teams during the upcoming season, the new Third jersey is inspired, not surprisingly, by the city that gave it its name. The new olive green jersey features a tone-on-tone graphic featuring the colors of the Milan flag, with a unique monochromatic version of the club crest. It also incorporates subtle touches of neon yellow, including the club’s official sponsor, Emirates Airlines, on the front and BitMEX on the left sleeve. The famous leaping feline, club crest and black necklines complete the design.
“Milan is an immensely proud city steeped in culture and style. We wanted to do something very different and unique with the new Third jersey by utilizing a new trend driven color to match the forward-thinking fashion of Milan,” said Marco Mueller, PUMA Senior Head of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel. “Another key aspect of the kit is the integration of the flag of Milan that has been placed in the center of the jersey as a tonal graphic to honor the passion and pride of the Milanese people.”

By reinterpreting some of the city’s symbols in a modern style, we believe we have been able to create a unique product, which can be worn both on and off the football pitch,” also expressed Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer of AC Milan.
The new third AC Milan jersey comes in two versions: the Authentic jersey in ULTRAWEAVE performance fabric, and the Replica version in 100% recycled polyester. Both Authentic and Replica jerseys are made from 100% recycled materials, except for the finishing and decorative elements.
The third kit will make its debut tomorrow, Saturday, August 27, when the men’s team faces Bologna at the San Siro stadium on the third day of the 2022/23 Serie A season.
