PUMA and Italian champions AC Milan today launched the club’s new home kit inspired by the Milanese heritage, the new generations of Rossoneri and the That Milan Touch campaign.
Known around the world for its mix of black and red and vertical stripes, the iconic and instantly recognizable AC Milan jersey has once again been given a new version for 2022-2023.
In addition to proudly displaying the Italian tricolor on the sleeve cuffs and the Milan coat of arms on the upper back, the new jersey largely leaves space on the front for the four red stripes on a black background.
“The new AC Milan home jersey is a combination of fashion, design, street culture and heritage. The jersey pays homage to what makes Milan unique,” said Marco Mueller, PUMA’s Senior Head of Product Line Management Teamsporte, “To bring the jersey to life, we wanted to create a campaign rooted in Milanese culture. We worked exclusively with Milanese artists, talents and creatives who support the club and understand what makes this club special to represent ‘That Milan Touch.””
“The jersey will proudly display the tricolor symbol of the extraordinary 19th Scudetto title victory of the Club. This jersey represents the heritage and future of our club, which is inextricably and deeply linked to the city of Milan, and its innovative vision both on and off the field,” added Casper Stylsvig, Chief revenue officer at AC Milan.
The new jersey will be available in two versions: the authentic jersey with ULTRAWEAVE performance fabric and dryCELL moisture-wicking technology, and the Replica version in 100% recycled polyester with dryCELL moisture-wicking technology.
The AC Milan 2022/23 home kit will be available from July 4 at PUMA stores, PUMA.com, the AC Milan Store at the AC Milan Stadium, acmilan.com/shop and selected retailers worldwide.
