PHILIPP PLEIN set the Milan Fashion Week on fire (as usual) last Friday night, marking the brand’s return to the runway for the first time since COVID-19.
With Pamela Anderson’s ex-boyfriend Tommy Lee burning up the crowd before the first look, worn by Paris Jackson, landed, the designer and businessman’s collection is “a rock-star collection for a rock-star brand” and, it delivered on Plein’s promise.
At the rendez-vous: a lot of baggy jeans, black leather jackets encrusted with studs, short jackets in ripped denim, tuxedo jackets and shirts with skull print, moiré shirts, pants with flower pattern and heart tattoos embroidered with crystals, psychedelic rainbow-patterned crystal leggings, aqua blue floral-printed moto jackets, tie-dye tracksuits or varsity jackets. Everything was hyper-blinged, exactly in the mood and signature aesthetic of PHILIPP PLEIN.
