Amidst the enthralling beauty of the Swiss mountains, OMEGA celebrated its long-standing connection to the world of golf. The occasion? The 22nd year of the Swiss brand’s association as the title sponsor of the OMEGA Masters golf tournament. But this wasn’t just any celebration; it took place at the iconic Cry D’Er, and came alive with the presence of the brand’s very own ambassadors, including the celebrated Korean actor, Hyun Bin.

Having etched a mark for himself with roles in numerous films and television, including his impactful portrayal in “Crash Landing on You,“ Hyun Bin was undoubtedly the star of the evening. But he wasn’t alone. The equally talented Kiko Mizuhara, an actress, model, and designer hailing from Japan, graced the event with her elegance. Their combined charisma was complemented by the presence of other OMEGA aficionados like Louise Wong and Ayla Sham Yuet, both hailing from Hong Kong.

Basking in the glory of the Swiss Alps, Hyun Bin and Kiko delved into their fondness for OMEGA’s meticulous craftsmanship and illustrious lineage. With genuine warmth, Hyun Bin reflected, “During the making of Crash Landing on You, I had the privilege of spending time in Switzerland. It’s heartening to be here once again, particularly alongside my OMEGA family. Their unparalleled commitment to precision and style resonates with me deeply, making it a privilege to be their ambassador.

Situated at a staggering altitude of 2,200m, the venue – Cry D’Er – encapsulated the essence of Switzerland. OMEGA further elevated this ambience with authentic Swiss elements, from native floral arrangements to the echoes of alphorns and a captivating fresco reflecting the timeless Poya style.

Raynald Aeschlimann, the President and CEO of OMEGA, couldn’t contain his excitement. He mentioned, “Welcoming our global guests to Cry D’Er is always a heartwarming experience. It’s a reflection of not just our Swiss hospitality but also our shared passion for golf. With personalities like Hyun Bin and Kiko joining us, this year’s celebration feels truly unparalleled. These are the moments that reinforce the essence of the OMEGA family.

But the festivities didn’t end there. The crowd was treated to an exclusive musical serenade by OMEGA brand ambassador, Bastian Baker. Recognized as one of Switzerland’s leading musicians, Bastian’s melodies sealed the evening, leaving an indelible mark on the attendees.

The OMEGA Masters, played at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club, stands as a testament to OMEGA’s deep-rooted affinity for sports. Originally conceptualized as the Swiss Open in 1923, this high-altitude tournament is a symbol of continuity, having been hosted at the same venue since 1939. This makes it Europe’s oldest golf tournament held consistently on a singular course. A course that OMEGA proudly claimed the naming rights to in 2001.
