While the Lunar New Year 2023 is still a long way off – the next year’s celebration will start on Sunday, January 22 – Nike already has several silhouettes in the works, including this new Nike Air Max TW, celebrating the passage of part of the world into the Year of the Water Rabbit.
This new Nike Air Max TW, with a rather clean design, has an upper covered with a pure white shade, on which we see in a subtle way floral patterns and Swooshes in the form of flower petals. Strangely, there are no references to the rabbit, the animal that will rule the world for the next year until Friday, February 9, 2024.
And to give the silhouette a festive feel, its designers sprinkled the shoe with colorful touches, including orange and red accents on the toes, turquoise blue and yellow on the tongues, beige, red and turquoise blue on the heel and a light beige on the lining.
Nike’s pinwheel stamped onto the insoles, bright red outsole and molds on the midsole to represent good fortune complete the design.
