After a Nike LeBron 9 Low “Reverse Liverpool” unveiled earlier this year, Nike and LeBron James are back, with a new Nike Air Max 1, to pay homage to Liverpool Football Club, in which the NBA star holds a minority stake.
Taking inspiration from the club’s 3rd kit of the 2022/2023 season, the sneaker features a white mesh base, paired with leather overlays in “Dark Atomic Teal” and “Black” colors – the first on the upper and towards the back, while the second on the Swooshes and mudguard. A touch of “Siren Red” can be seen on the lining of the sneaker, while the LFC and LeBron logos can be seen printed on the insoles. Two inscriptions SFG (Strive For Greatness) and YNWA (You Never Walk Alone) are embossed on the heels respectively, drawing from the mantra of LeBron and Liverpool. A white midsole featuring a visible Air unit at the heel in “Siren Red” and a “Dark Atomic Teal” outsole complete the sneaker.
