Last year, Stone Island and New Balance launched their collaborative offering of the RC Elite V2, the duo returns this year with two vibrant new colorways of this high performance conceptual silhouette.
In this comeback where New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio (TDS for short) plays a key role, the two new FuelCell RC Elite V2 pairs are the epitome of innovation and quality.
Both pairs combine bold neon with a contrasting traditional color palette. The first option features an acid green knit upper, covered in burgundy from a classic 574 colorway. The other opts for a bright red knit upper, covered in New Balance’s iconic gray.
They both share technological features including propulsive FuelCell cushioning and a full-length carbon fiber plate that reflects energy. Additionally, they include a lightweight, breathable 3D knit upper paired with synthetic overlays with ragged edges, inspired by the 574.
