While Nike and adidas were the first to unveil exclusive silhouettes dedicated to the Lunar New Year, New Balance is now also getting in on the action with this mega pack that Tokyo-based sneaker and streetwear retailer atmos just showed us a sneak peek of.
Simply called the “Lunar New Year Collection“, the pack includes several iconic silhouettes from the Boston-based outfitter including a New Balance 2002R, a New Balance 574, a New Balance 550 as well as a New Balance 60/90 – each of which comes in two versions.
Overall, there are few details that reference the traditional Lunar New Year aesthetic, with the exception of the red shade of a New Balance 574 pair. The colorways of the pairs are mostly neutral with white, cream and grey, enriched with a few touches of brown.

New Balance’s Lunar New Year 2023 collection will launch via atmos on January 2 with a lotery period beginning on the atmos online store on December 23.
