Nike continues to celebrate the upcoming arrival of the new year of the Water Rabbit with the release of new exclusive silhouettes at a steady pace. This time, it’s the turn of its Jordan Brand division to join the celebrations with a Jordan Luka 1 in Lunar New Year colors.
Like the Jordan Legacy 312 “Year of the Rabbit”, we find here a neutral palette coupled with touches of more pronounced colors. Thus, we find on this Jordan Luka 1 “Year Of The Rabbit” a mesh base and TPU overlays in white or milky white. A touch of olive green is found on the tongue and heel, while a fiery red – the color of luck and prosperity in Asia – ignites the inner bootie, insole, heel-tab and embroidered Doncic badge on the tongue. A discreet touch of gold takes place here and there, including on the pull tab, and on the Jumpman printed on the insole and the one printed on the front and heel of the shoe.
A translucent outsole completes the design.
