Fashionistos, fashionistas, the time has come to feast your eyes on the H&M Holiday 2023 collection, that blends the masculine allure of the iconic “Le Smoking” tuxedo with a dash of feminine glamour.
With the collection set to grace both online platforms and physical stores worldwide from November 9, you can expect a monochromatic color scheme dominated by black, white and silver tones. Key pieces in the collection include a sleek tuxedo bandeau, a cropped sequined jacket adorned with charming bows, an elegant poplin tuxedo shirt, column skirts and dresses that shimmer with every step.
H&M‘s designers have played with proportions, giving the collection strong shoulders, cinched waists and flowing lines that effortlessly command attention. To add an extra layer of sophistication, they’ve incorporated oversized ruffles, exaggerated bows and a variety of shimmering elements that add a touch of magic to each piece. Trousers are long, wide and full, while asymmetrical jersey dresses and versatile tops feature sculptural draping.
To complement the garments, the collection also includes a range of high-gloss accessories. From bijou party bags and embellished shoes to hair bows and sparkling jewelry, each piece is designed to enhance the wearer’s look and ensure they stand out in the holiday crowd.

Eliana Masgalos, concept designer at H&M, says: “For the holiday season we wanted to explore the dialogue between women’s and men’s wear. So while the collection has strong tuxedo and tailoring elements, we made sure to balance this with graceful draping and shiny embellishments. The look and feel is classic yet edgy and ideal for celebrating with loved ones.”
To add to the magic, H&M enlisted the help of famous faces like Mila Jovovich, Bobby Gillespie and Paloma Elsesser and their families to bring the Holiday 2023 collection to life. Under the expert eye of photographer Mikael Jansson and stylist Suzanne Koller, the campaign promises to capture the essence of togetherness and set a festive tone for the season.
Mark your calendars for November 9, when the H&M Holiday 2023 collection will make a grand entrance, offering fashion lovers a unique blend of tuxedo-inspired elegance.
