G-SHOCK has teamed up with Verdy’s Japanese streetwear label Wasted Youth to launch the DW-5900WY model in a limited edition capsule collaboration.
The collaborative edition revisits the popular G-SHOCK DW-5900WY model in a blue and white palette that nods to the Japanese label’s collaboration with Budweiser. On its white dial, we see, alongside a co-branding, a very discreet bowtie motif – the same motif is found as a cutout on the strap loop.
When the backlight is on, the Wasted Youth WY initials are revealed on the digital clock face, while the back of the case is engraved with the Wasted Youth logo, along with the inscription “I can’t waste my time anymore“.
The watch comes in a special packaging that resembles a beer can, another nod to this summer’s Wasted Youth x Budweiser collab.
