With a rich history of over 4,200 models, G-SHOCK has handpicked 49 models that represent the pinnacle of design and material innovation. The REMASTER BLACK collection, inspired by these select models, is a testament to the brand’s relentless pursuit of perfection.
The bracelets of these ultra-durable watches pay tribute to the years that have shaped G-SHOCK’s evolution. Using a hot stamping process, the names of the 49 chosen models are delicately engraved on the REMASTER BLACK bracelet, creating a textured and jagged effect that adds an artistic touch. Each timepiece is complemented with a gold-colored stainless steel buckle, elevating their elegance.
Drawing inspiration from four timeless G-SHOCK models, the REMASTER BLACK capsule showcases the brand’s incredible versatility. The DW-5600 boasts the iconic original shape of the first G-SHOCK, while the DW-6600 features the brand’s pioneering LED lighting. The analog-digital GA-110 combination and the GA-2100, with its octagonal dial, represent the new ultimate basics. The collection also includes the innovative DWE-5657RE, which offers two distinct looks with its interchangeable round bezel DW-5700.

In celebration of the brand’s 40th anniversary, a subtle star embellishes the button on the lower left side of the case for three of the models and at 8 o’clock for the GA-114RE. The anniversary logo appears on the DWE-5657RE and DW-6640RE when the LED display is activated, adding an extra layer of charm.
G-SHOCK’s commitment to sustainability is evident in the construction of the REMASTER BLACK collection. The cases and bracelets are made from bio-based resins derived from renewable organic resources, such as castor oil plants and corn, significantly reducing their environmental impact. The DWE-5657RE and DW-6640RE models feature high-brightness LED backlighting and a remarkable five-year battery life.
The timepieces come in eco-friendly and sustainable packaging, crafted from recycled materials and designed to resemble the G-SHOCK logo. The outer box is made from recycled paper and printed with vegetable ink. The DWE-5657RE’s special box, housing the interchangeable bezel, is made from bagasse (sugarcane fiber) – a sustainable wood substitute – and printed with vegetable ink.
