Classic and classic ingredients for a graphic king cake, that’s what the young pastry chef Pierre-Jean Quinonero proposed for the luxurious Burgundy Paris.
France’s Best Apprentice in 2014 and French Dessert Champion in 2021, Pierre-Jean Quinonero chose a hazelnut frangipane delicately flavored with Tahitian vanilla for his second king cake at Burgundy Paris, the luxurious establishment located a stone’s throw from the famous Champs-Élysées avenue.
In contrast to its generous garnishing deliciously flavored with the aromas of the two raw ingredients, the flaky pastry of the galette is particularly crisp thanks to the Viennese puff pastry and a beautiful brown color that enhances its beautiful graphic shape with a magnetic rosette.
