Ducati has revealed its all-new Ducati Diavel V4, a muscular cruiser with a striking personality and amazing performance thanks to the introduction of the sophisticated V4 Granturismo engine.
Ducati‘s 1,158 cc V4, with 168 hp and 12.8 kgm of torque, is the ideal engine for a muscular cruiser, capable of combining linearity at low revs with vigorous torque throughout the powerband.
The Diavel V4 is a unique blend of seemingly distant technical, dynamic and stylistic characteristics of sporty roadsters and muscle cruisers. It thus satisfies the desires of many different riders, from the sportbike enthusiast looking for a more comfortable motorcycle with more style, to those who prefer to experience motorcycling in a more urban and relaxed setting, or the lover of performance and drag racing icons.

The Ducati Diavel V4 surprises with its dynamic performance, its ability to offer a mixed ride, with impressive acceleration and deceleration, as well as its ability to parade at low speeds, certain not to go unnoticed thanks to its incomparable stage presence. More than that, it amazes with its mid-range touring ability with truly amazing comfort for driver and passenger.
The Diavel V4’s silhouette is virile and robust – it weighs 211 kg unladen without fuel, a gain of more than 13 kg (-5 on the engine, -8 on the chassis) compared to the Diavel 1260 S – with wide “shoulders” and a proudly visible four-tailpipe exhaust system that immediately announces the sophisticated architecture of the engine. It’s inspired by muscle cars, superhero aesthetics, and replicates the image of an athlete ready to launch from the starting blocks, with all the mass concentrated at the front and an agile, streamlined rear end. The front and rear lights and turn signals, obviously full-LED, also contribute to the unique appearance of the Diavel V4.
The performance of the 168 HP Granturismo V4, combined with the massive 240/45 rear tire with dedicated transmission, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3″, and its hyper-sport type braking system, with 330 mm discs and Brembo Stylema calipers, with record performance, with maximum deceleration values of up to 11.5 m/s2, ensure a truly impressive performance. As for the five-spoke alloy wheels with a profile enhanced by machined surfaces, they are one of the most refined elements of the Diavel V4’s aesthetic.
The Ducati Diavel V4 is equipped with a complete electronic package that enhances its sporty performance and allows the rider to use it safely. It offers three power modes and four riding modes, such as Sport, Touring, Urban and the new Wet mode for low grip surfaces. It also has features such as cruise control, Launch Control and Ducati Quick Shift for quick starts and efficient gear changes. The rider can manage the electronics via handlebar controls and a new 5-inch color TFT instrument panel, which also allows Bluetooth connectivity to use a smartphone for calls, messages and navigation.
And finally, the new Ducati Diavel V4 offers many options to enhance its touring capabilities through the Ducati Performance catalog. It includes semi-rigid cases with a total capacity of 48 liters that, together with the passenger backrest and the Touring bubble, allow comfortable travel even with one passenger. The sporty side of the Diavel V4 can also be amplified with parts such as the homologated exhaust silencer with exhaust shield and four titanium tailpipes, alloy and carbon parts, forged rims and red or black brake calipers.
The new Ducati Diavel V4 will arrive in dealerships from February 2023 in the classic Ducati Red (approximately $29,800 USD) or “Thrilling Blac” ($30,140 USD) color scheme.
