The world of nature has always been a source of inspiration for the iconic fashion house DIOR and its men’ line DIOR Men. From the rose gardens in Granville to the Provencal gardens of La Colle Noire, the founder of the fashion house Christian Dior cultivated his love for the countryside and all things natural throughout his life and work. This passion has become one of the House’s iconic themes and has been reflected in many of its collections over the years.
For the DIOR Men Summer 2023’s line, Creative Director Kim Jones has decided to pay homage to this theme by collaborating with Mystery Ranch for the first time. Mystery Ranch is a brand based in Montana, close to the Rocky Mountains, where they test their equipment. They specialize in creating bags designed for adventure and are resistant to even the most extreme situations.
The collaboration between DIOR Men and Mystery Ranch has given birth to bags inspired by the couturier’s love of gardening. The Saddle bag, an emblematic model of the House, has been reinvented for the outdoors and now features a double-zipped compartment, a Nylon jacquard shoulder strap, and an aluminum buckle. This new essential combines form and function, luxury and practicality, and is a testament to the creative exchange between the two brands.
The Gallagator backpack, designed for urban exploration, reflects the spirit of unlimited innovation. Its signature Y-shaped 3-Zip closure system offers immediate access to multiple interior storage spaces and its compression straps allow for volume adjustment. The backpack comes with a detachable water-repellent hooded cover, elevating utility to fashion.
These utilitarian and highly desirable bags are made from recycled and durable CORDURA® re/cor™ Nylon 6,6 fabric and are quilted for optimal comfort. They are adorned with a leather badge intermingling the seals of both Houses, making them not only functional but also fashionable.
