Indian designer Dhruv Kapoor unveiled his post-streetwear garb collection at the frescoed 18th-century Tiepolo Room at Palazzo Clerici in Milan.
The collection, titled “Awakening,” is a play on softness and ruggedness, with a blend of soundscapes, orchestra music, and hip-hop providing the backdrop. Models sported ripped denim ensembles, sportswear tracksuits, and sharp tailoring with squarish blazers, flared and elongated bottoms, and Marsèll footwear and Huma eyewear.
Kapoor also incorporated a see-now-buy-now capsule collection developed with the Godzilla franchise which aims to spin the negative, monstrous aspect of the brand around and accept it.
