The COS Spring/Summer 2023 collection is a celebration of versatility, self-assertion, and determination.
The fashion line aims to inspire people to embrace change and to question preconceived notions, all while keeping a positive outlook towards new ideas. The collection’s visuals are captured against the textured urban landscapes of Los Angeles, championing creative contrasts and inclusivity.
Led by American and Guyanese rapper and singer SAINt JHN, along with a diverse cast of models, including Native American Cherokee Jack, American Rebecca Longendyke, Chinese Shu Pei, South Korean Xu Meen and Ugandan-British actress, singer, songwriter and playwright Sheila Atim, the campaign showcases the beauty of diversity. Los Angeles-based British photographer Glen Luchford takes the perfect shots, capturing the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
The COS Spring/Summer 2023 collection emphasizes the importance of timelessness and sustainability, with a focus on the construction of the pieces. The collection features light linen and crepe fabrics reinventing classic suits for warm weather, supple leather jackets and structured trench coats that take you from day to evening. It’s complete with embroidery anglaise pieces, abstract handmade florals, and new colored ensembles. The brand also explores new skills with a selection of sunglasses created in collaboration with LINDA FARROW.
Under the artistic direction of Suzanne Koller, the collection integrates fluid summer volumes and structured silhouettes into thoughtful mid-season looks. The bold greens enhance the contemporary natural hues, emphasizing the importance of refinement and circular economy.
