Embracing the creative spirit and diverse nature of Liverpool FC’s fans, Converse has joined forces with the iconic football club to launch the exclusive “Converse x Liverpool FC” capsule collection.
This limited-edition, nine-piece collection is a celebration of the unique connection between the team and its global supporters, while marking the first collaboration between these two renowned entities.
The Converse x Liverpool FC capsule collection is a perfect blend of fashion and football, appealing to a new generation of fans who appreciate both style and passion. The nine-piece collection features dual-branded LFC and Converse logos, paying tribute to the rich history and cultural significance of both organizations. The Chuck 70 high-top sneakers, one of the standout pieces, are adorned with Liver birds, sea holly (the county flower of Liverpool), and the iconic YNWA (You’ll Never Walk Alone) slogan. Another notable item is the woven heritage varsity jacket, which pays homage to the 1984 European Cup finals ticket, a match in which the Reds defeated Roma on penalties.
Liverpool FC defender Andy Robertson emphasizes the accepting nature of the club and the city of Liverpool, stating, “We see that day to day with our club staff, and we see it week to week with the fans coming through the turnstiles. As a city, it’s amazing what they do, but as a club, they’ve followed in the footsteps. Liverpool is open to everyone.” This spirit of inclusivity and diversity is reflected in the Converse x Liverpool FC collection, which also includes a bucket hat, Run Star Hike sneakers, a polo shirt, a T-shirt, shorts, and a tracksuit top and bottoms.
Converse has a longstanding history of celebrating creativity and nurturing emerging talent. The brand’s community-focused All Star program has provided artistic opportunities for over 3,000 emerging creatives worldwide. Converse’s commitment to elevating creative voices extends to the United Kingdom, supporting talents such as Isaac Andrews, Ojerime, Paris Rabone, and Create Next Film Project filmmakers Ade Femzo, Lorraine Khamali, Kaylen Francis, Ibrahim Muhammad, and Kemi Anna Adeeko.
