Converse has once again teamed up with Liverpool FC for a second limited-edition capsule collection that is a testament to the power of collaboration. The key pieces in this collection fuse the iconic styles of Converse with the spirited energy of Liverpool FC, showcasing an exquisite blend of style and sport.
At the heart of the collection are the Converse x LFC Chuck 70 high-top sneakers, inspired by the club’s famous away colors to create a visually striking and emotionally resonant piece of footwear. Alongside these sneakers, the range features a premium unisex puffer jacket emblazoned with both the Converse and LFC logos, a clear nod to the deep-rooted partnership between these two giants.
Further down the line, fans will find the Converse x LFC Star Player 76 sneaker, a long-sleeved rugby top, a comfortable T-shirt and a sleek tracksuit, each meticulously crafted to embody the spirit and legacy of Liverpool FC while maintaining the classic, timeless appeal of Converse.
Steven Bramble, VP/GM for Converse Western Europe, shares his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “Building on the success of the Converse x Liverpool FC partnership, we couldn’t be more proud to launch the Fall/Holiday ’23 collection and campaign. It celebrates the rich history of Liverpool FC while bringing the creativity of LFC fandom to the forefront.”
The campaign, titled “Creating From the Ground Up,” is a tribute to the club’s next generation of supporters and embodies the vibrant, creative spirit of the city and its unwavering devotion to football. The campaign features a mix of players and fans, including Darwin Núñez, Missy Bo Kearns and Taylor Hinds, as well as artists and creatives from Homotopia, a Liverpool-based organization that promotes LGBTQIA+ socially engaged artists.
Multidisciplinary creative Dredz, singer-songwriter Pixey, and artist Sterling Rose Kelly grace the campaign alongside Homotopia artists and dedicated Liverpool FC fans including Olivia Graham, Margie Houlston, Jess Scott, Sian Bennett, Kolade, and DJ Lauren Lo Sung.
The partnership between Converse and Liverpool FC is a vibrant celebration of creativity, diversity and community that aims to connect fans from all walks of life and foster a more inclusive, creative and diverse football community.
