Hollywood star Channing Tatum graces the cover of Vanity Fair’s February 2023 issue, revealing his thoughts on relationships and how fatherhood has changed his perspective.
In the Vanity Fair photo shoot, Tatum is seen wearing a stylish ensemble that includes a Ralph Lauren Purple Label jacket, Giorgio Armani shirt, Raggedy Threads vintage pants, and Melet vintage boots. The fashion photography by Mario Sorrenti, grooming by Jamie Taylor, tailoring by Yasmine Ezeli, and set design by Philipp Haemmerle all come together to capture Tatum’s timeless and classic style.
In an interview with the magazine (read here), the Magic Mike star admits that relationships have been challenging for him despite being a monogamist. He shares how he tried too hard in the past, holding on to a story that he and his partner told themselves, even though life was blatantly telling them that they were different.
However, fatherhood has given him a new understanding of differences between people, particularly how he and his ex-wife, Jenna Dewan, parent differently. Tatum reveals that focusing on his daughter was the best possible thing he could have done as it allowed him to drop everything and do the work on himself.
Tatum’s experience with fatherhood highlights the importance of self-reflection and prioritizing what truly matters in life. For someone who has achieved fame and success, it is easy to get caught up in the glitz and glamour of it all. But Tatum’s story shows that, ultimately, it’s the relationships we have with the people we love that matter most.
